Research Location Details

The Research Location Details is a data discovery tool that provides access the entire STEWARDS database structure. Using the Research Location Details, the user can navigate a directory tree to find research sites that collect data that may be of interest. Locations and Sites are linked to their corresponding description files.

When a Location is selected, the Location Summary is limited to local data and is accessed via the Location Summary link in the Select Research Location toolbar.

Clicking the triangle expands the Locations entry to reveal the available CEAP research watersheds. Expanding a watershed will reveal the watershed themes. From the theme level the user may expand:

• Sites - these are the sites where the theme's data are collected. Users can click on sites in blue text to open the site description report for that site.
  
  
• Parameter Descriptions - the varying measurements made at the sites. Users can click on parameter descriptions in blue text to open the methods report for that description.
  
  
• Other Information - descriptive information regarding the theme, includeing beginning and ending dates, maximum duration, and time step.
